Join the COLIPIan family as a hands-on Biological Technical Assistant and be at the forefront of scaling and commercializing novel bioprocesses to supply the world with microbial Climate Oil as an alternative to vegetable and fossil oils. COLIPI is dedicated to Fermenting Renewable Carbon For Generational Life Quality, utilizing renewable carbon sources and CO2 transformation to produce valuable biomaterials and contribute to the intensifying fight against global warming. 

🧑🏽‍🔬Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform routine experiments such as cultivation of microbes, PCR, nucleic acid purification (DNA/RNA), bacterial transformation, competent cell preparation, cloning, etc. 

• Plan and analyze experiments using standard laboratory methods 

• Autoclaving the glassware, filling the pipette tip boxes, buffer, and media preparation 

• Document results and workflows in our digital laboratory platform 

• Conduct and evaluate aerobic fermentations in bioreactors at lab scale 

• Laboratory organization and maintaining inventory 

 

🛠️Qualifications: 

• Legal permit to work in Europe, fluent in English (German B2 bonus) 

• Completed training as a biological-technical laboratory assistant, biology laboratory technician, or similar 

• Practical experience in GLP (good laboratory practices), routine molecular biology work, and microbial cultivation and sterile lab practices 

• Good Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) 

• Willingness to deal with startup flexibility
